Contract research organization, Charles River Laboratories has [acquired](https://www.hemacare.com/news/charles-river-laboratories-completes-the-acquisition-of-hemacare-corporation/) HemaCare Corporation. The acquisition was completed at $380 million; HemaCare is a leading producer of human-derived cellular products for the cell therapy market.
