An experimental vaccine [developed](https://www.axios.com/coronavirus-vaccine-human-clinical-trial-ff89108d-87b0-4948-a299-59ee3369eb83.html) by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Moderna is ready to enter human testing, announced NIAID director Anthony Fauci. This rapid response, getting a vaccine into phase I trials within three months of the sequencing of the virus, is a new record.
