Testing an Experimental Coronavirus Vaccine

An experimental vaccine developed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Moderna is ready to enter human testing, announced NIAID director Anthony Fauci. This rapid response, getting a vaccine into phase I trials within three months of the sequencing of the virus, is a new record.
