KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Director of Business Development at Yourway, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building a high-performing, cross-functional team. You will lead the Business Development, Events, and Marketing teams, aligning their efforts with company goals while developing and executing strategies to enhance client acquisition and satisfaction. Below are the key responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development, Event, and Marketing teams to ensure they meet company quality standards. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment while providing ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to help team members achieve their goals.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Continuously review, enhance, and implement department SOPs, policies, objectives, and initiatives, ensuring they align with the company’s core values and long-term vision. Work closely with leadership to craft actionable business plans that define key strategies and tactics for success.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Project Management, and Finance. Collaborate with these teams to ensure seamless integration of efforts and share insights that improve overall business performance.

  • Business Plan & Sales Monitoring: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive business plans that define growth strategies. Monitor, track, and report on team sales performance against monthly and quarterly targets. Champion the use of the CRM system (HubSpot) to ensure accurate data tracking and revenue forecasting.

  • Talent Acquisition & Staff Management: Coordinate and manage recruitment efforts in collaboration with the HR department. Lead the hiring of top talent for the Business Development and Marketing teams to ensure the right people are in place for sustainable growth. Oversee the team’s performance, conduct performance reviews, and assess ongoing training and development needs.

  • Performance Management & Improvement: Conduct regular needs assessments and performance reviews of Business Development staff, identifying areas for improvement. Develop and implement targeted training sessions and coaching to help team members exceed performance expectations.

  • Revenue Growth & Business Opportunities: Take ownership of identifying and developing new business opportunities to increase company revenue. Build and nurture strategic partnerships, leveraging market knowledge and competitor insights to position Yourway for success. Expand Yourway’s brand presence across key markets by identifying high-value opportunities for growth.

  • Client & Partnership Management: Lead cross-functional teams to manage existing partnerships and ensure long-term client satisfaction. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services based on a deep understanding of client needs. Develop outreach strategies tailored to current and potential clients to maximize market penetration.

  • RFP & Proposal Development: Contribute to the review and response of RFPs, assessing opportunities, creating winning strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of proposals. Ensure the Business Development team follows a structured approach to opportunity qualification and strategic pursuit.

  • Event & Conference Participation: Lead and manage the Event team’s participation in conferences, trade shows, and industry events. Evaluate business development opportunities from these events and ensure Yourway’s market positioning is enhanced through strong representation.

  • Reporting & Metrics: Provide detailed monthly metrics and performance reports to senior management. Share key insights from business development activities and suggest adjustments to strategies where necessary to meet evolving company objectives.
    Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use this data to guide outreach strategies, ensure Yourway stays competitive, and seize new business opportunities.

  • Team Building & Culture: Foster a culture of strong teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. Ensure the Business Development team works seamlessly with other departments to create a dynamic and inclusive workplace that encourages professional growth and shared success.

This role requires a strategic thinker and effective communicator who can build relationships, motivate teams, and drive growth. As the Director of Business Development, you will be a key driver in positioning Yourway as a leader in the industry and ensuring the company continues to meet and exceed its business goals.
