Evan is the Head of Platform of J.P. Morgan Private Capital. His responsibilities include oversight of the finance, operations, portfolio management and legal aspects of J.P. Morgan Private Capital. Evan brings a wealth of operational and portfolio management experience from alternative investment managers in the technology, healthcare and other sectors. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in September 2021, Evan was the Head of Portfolio Management at General Catalyst Group. Prior to this, Evan served as the CFO for OrbiMed Advisors LLC, which invests globally across the healthcare industry. Other roles included Vice President of GSC Group, Managing Director of Clearlake Capital Management, L.P. and CFO for Archer Capital Management, L.P. Evan has served on the board of Scovill Fasteners, Inc., Burke Industries, Inc., Elysium Health, Inc., Photoshelter, Inc. and other companies throughout his career. Evan holds an A.B. in Economics and Statistical Mathematics from Dartmouth College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude Phi Beta Kappa.
Divya joined EyeBio as Senior Vice President of Clinical Development. She is responsible for the company’s clinical development strategy and execution. Prior to joining EyeBio, Divya held various roles at the United Kingdom’s (UK) National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) beginning in 2007. In 2020, Divya was seconded to the UK Vaccines Taskforce (VTF), which was set up in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to lead the UK’s search for a safe and effective vaccine. Divya holds a B.Sc. in Psychology from Royal Holloway at the University of London, and was awarded an India academic scholarship to complete a MRes degree at the University of Birmingham, UK.
Michèle Cunnane has over 25+ years’ experience in Clinical Research, having previously worked in HRB CRCI, Cancer Trials Ireland (formerly ICORG), INEOS Healthcare, SRG Interesource Satellite Operations and IQVIA (formerly Quintiles) in various Data Management and Leadership positions. Within her role, Michèle acts as the primary contact for the HRB NCTO Feasibility programme and is the co-ordinator for a number of HRB NCTO Working Groups.
Landry Giardina has over 20 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry and especially within clinical supply chain, digital development, and innovation. His career started as a biochemist engineer, and has progressed into drug manufacturing process development, GMP production, comparator supply and material flow management, along with innovation and technology for clinical supplies.
Prof. Fergal O'Brien is Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation and member of the Senior Management Team in RCSI an Deputy Director of the SFI AMBER Centre. He is a leading innovator in the development of advanced biomaterials and medical devices for tissue repair publishing over 300 journal articles and graduating over 50 PhD students. He has translated a number of regenerative technologies to the clinic through spin-out company formation and licensing to industry. He is a recipient of numerous awards including a €3million Advanced Grant from the European Research Council, Fellowship of the Irish Academy for Engineering, Membership of the Royal Irish Academy and the 2023 Marshall R. Urist, MD Award from the Orthopaedic Research Society for career contribution to musculoskeletal research.
Siobhan leads the Science Foundation’s strategic objectives focused on collaborative research initiatives between academia and enterprise, including the establishment of internationally leading SFI Research Centres and bespoke enterprise partnerships. Siobhan holds a B.A. Mod in Genetics from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley (USA). Prior to Science Foundation Ireland, she worked as a research scientist in both the private sector and in third level research, authoring publications in leading, peer-reviewed journals and producing several international patents.
