Human trials of a potential coronavirus vaccine will begin in Indonesia – this initiative is part of a collaboration between Indonesian pharmaceutical company Bio Farma and China’s Sinovac Biotech Ltd. The phase III clinical trial is set to begin on Aug. 11 and will involve 1,620 volunteers between the ages of 18 and 59. As of now, the trial is halfway recruited.
