After approving Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine three weeks ago, the FDA has now authorized Moderna's vaccine against the Coronavirus for individuals 18 years or older. The FDA based its recommendation on data analysis from the pivotal Phase III clinical study, which showed a primary vaccine efficacy rate of 94.1%. Under Operation Warp Speed, approximately 20 million doses will be delivered tp the U.S. government by the end of December 2020.
