The U.S. Department of Defense granted the funding to INOVIO to support the large-scale manufacture of the company's proprietary CELLECTRA® 3PSP smart device and the procurement of CELLECTRA® 2000 devices. These devices are used to deliver COVID-19 vaccine candidate INO-4800 directly into the skin, prompting a strong immune response. Phase 1 clinical results are expected within 30 days, with Phase II/III anticipated in the summer. Yourway has the capacity to transport and deliver all clinical trial materials internationally.
