Case study: Commercial Launch. When Every Hour Matters.

Case study: Commercial Launch. When Every Hour Matters.

How Yourway orchestrated another dedicated transatlantic charter to keep a critical commercial launch on time.

Months of planning and preparation led to this moment.

For our client, every additional day between product readiness and commercial availability mattered.

It required a plan built around the product — and the launch.

The Challenge: Multiple Temp-Control Shippers. One Critical Timeline.

The commercial product needed to move in multiple large temperature-controlled pallet shippers.

Their size immediately narrowed the transportation options to a Boeing 767 aircraft. A narrow-body aircraft would not accommodate the configuration, while the length of the transatlantic journey — approximately 10 hours of flight time — added another layer of complexity.

At the same time, the client could not afford to have its launch timeline dictated by commercial airline schedules, limited cargo capacity, connections, and origin and destination points several hours away from the delivery point.

The solution needed to provide control over the aircraft, the schedule, the handling and the journey.

Yourway coordinated a dedicated wide-body charter.

But securing the aircraft was only one part of the operation.

Before Takeoff, Everything Had to Align.

The success of the charter depended on what happened long before the aircraft left the ground.

Yourway coordinated the temperature-controlled pallet shippers, ground transportation, cargo preparation, airport handling, aircraft requirements, export clearance and timing across the different teams involved.

The shippers were prepared and secured for transport before being transferred via temperature-controlled ground transportation to the airport.

At each stage, the next movement was already being coordinated.

A dedicated aircraft was chartered specifically for the shipment.

No competing cargo.

No dependency on scheduled freight capacity.

No unnecessary connections.

The multiple pallet shippers could be handled as one coordinated movement, giving the team greater control over the schedule and allowing the transportation plan to remain centered on the client’s launch requirements.

On the ground, teams worked directly around the aircraft to stage and load the cargo for departure.

This is where months of planning became execution.

The People Behind the Movement

Complex logistics rarely succeed because of transportation alone.

They succeed because people remain engaged throughout the operation.

From preparation and ground handling to airport coordination and aircraft loading, the shipment required teams across multiple locations to work toward one objective.

Yourway was closely involved throughout the movement, coordinating across teams and stakeholders and helping ensure that each stage was ready for the next.

The Result: Logistics Built Around the Launch

The shipment moved from the EU through temperature-controlled ground transportation, airport handling and dedicated air charter as a coordinated commercial-launch movement.

For the client, the objective was bigger than moving multiple pallet shippers from one country to another.

It was about protecting the momentum created by regulatory approval, manufacturing and months of commercial preparation.

And that required logistics capable of moving at the same pace.

When every hour to market matters, logistics cannot simply move the product. It has to move with the launch.

Yourway

From temperature-controlled transportation and specialized packaging to dedicated charters and complex global movements, Yourway develops logistics solutions around the requirements of the product, the program and the patients ultimately waiting at the other end.
