FDA Approves First ProAir HFA Generic

The U.S. FDA has announced its approval of the first generic of ProAir HFA (albuterol sulfate), one of the most commonly used metered-dose rescue inhalers. Generating similar generic copies of complex drugs on the market will help get these life-saving drugs into patients’ hands at lower costs.
